Identified Services was founded in 2014 by Kevin Campion, a former Queensland State of Origin star, Brisbane Bronco, and New Zealand Warriors legend.
Kevin’s structured approach has seen the company grow from humble beginnings, where his clients were so close he could ride his bike to meet with them, into a thriving, state-wide enterprise known for its diverse services and impeccable standards.
“One of my first big clients was a gym in Currumbin. I must’ve looked like a complete nutcase rolling up on a pushbike,” Kevin recalls with a laugh. “But hey, many of those early clients from 2014 are still with me today, so I must have done something right.”
After hanging up his football boots in 2004, Kevin shifted gears. He earned a business diploma from James Cook University and found success in property development and real estate before launching Identified Services. His drive for excellence on the field translated seamlessly into business.
Though his football days are behind him, the game still pulses through his veins. Kevin remains deeply connected with the New Zealand Warriors, a team where he enjoyed standout seasons in 2001 and 2002.
Two decades later, in March 2022, he was named an Australian Ambassador for the Warriors and has been instrumental in launching a pathways program for talented Aussie players to experience the true Warrior spirit in New Zealand.
Kevin’s contributions extend far beyond business and football. As a strong supporter of the Australian Anti-Ice Campaign and a holder of a Mental Health First Aid Certificate, he collaborates with the Royal Flying Doctors Service to reach remote communities and provide support to individuals battling mental health issues.
As a businessman, advocate, athlete, and devoted father – finding a few moments to spare is rare, but when Kevin does manage to carve out some downtime, you’ll likely find him on the tennis court or enjoying precious moments with his now-grown kids.
The Australian Anti-Ice Campaign is on the frontlines of the fight against crystal meth (Ice) addiction, delivering a powerful message to young Australians, ‘Not Even Once’.
Focused on prevention, the program brings real-life stories into Queensland schools, where former Ice addicts give raw, unfiltered presentations about the devastating consequences of drug use.
The campaign’s reach is particularly crucial in small, regional towns, where Ice addiction has taken hold among the younger population. Having grown up in a small town himself, Kevin is deeply committed to the cause.
“In some of these communities, kids as young as 10 have to take a drug test before they’re even allowed to sign on,” Kevin explains. “The campaign forces these kids to face the hard truths about what life on Ice really looks like - no sugar-coating, just the brutal reality.”
The program doesn't end there. After the presentations, Kevin takes students out onto the footy field, where they kick a ball around and hear firsthand how his own success came from choosing a different path.
“I use those moments to show them that I was successful in my career because I said ‘no’ to drugs,” he said. “It’s about giving them a vision of what’s possible when you stay clean, focused, and driven.”
With his trademark blend of tough love and inspiration, Kevin is helping steer the next generation away from a life of addiction, empowering them to dream bigger and make smarter choices.
